ECHELON KNOXX

Echelon Knoxx is a devoted husband and father of one. He is also the proud Vice President of Dreams N Reach. Echelon did not have an easy upbringing. Partially due to the lack of his father’s presence in his life, the 25-year-old rapper turned to his native Washington, D.C. streets to fill that void and got involved with drugs – an association that

Ultimately led to his arrest as he tried to live up to the peer pressure that awaited him daily. Years later, God intervened by using his best friend to expose him to the gospel. Since signing with Dreams N Reach Management LLC as their first Christian rapper in January 2014, Echelon has been privileged to make an impact on youth and young adults alike throughout the D.C. metropolitan area, Baltimore, North Carolina, Atlanta, Boston, Detroit and Ghana, to name a few. His latest single, “Water”, which is reaching the masses, thanks to the support of Radio One D.C.’s Praise 104.1, The Willie Moore jr. Show, 93.9 (WKYS-FM) and affiliate stations across the nation. Echelon has been deemed to be the 1st National gospel rapper from Washington D.C! He is a business guru, passionate artist, and committed man to his family.

DEVIN TURNER

At the age of six, Devin Turner, accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. But from early elementary through middle school, he had all kinds of struggles of insecurity and depression that led to two suicide attempts. As a freshman in high school, Devin was confronted with obstacles that many teenagers face which caused him to question God’s existence. He began affiliations with known drug dealers in his school but it didn’t take Devin long to realize that something just wasn’t setting well with him about his new lifestyle of choice. Soon after, Devin started reading the Bible for himself so that he could know if it was truth or not.

In his junior and senior years of high school, he led a daily Bible study where he challenged his peers to pursue godly lifestyles through obedience to God’s Word. After graduating from high school, he attended Bowie State University, where he led a Bible study as a leader of the Impact Movement. Once he graduated from BSU, Devin was hired as a Youth Minister and was later ordained as a pastor at Zion Church in Largo, Maryland. He is now Lead Pastor of Revolution DC and CEO of Disciples Thru Media. Devin and his wife Lenneil Turner reside in Washington, DC with their two sons, Justus and Jairus.

SPEAKERS

MICHAEL WILSON

My journey in Missions began shortly after I gave my life to Christ at the age of 22. I felt like God was saying to “GO”. I had no friends that were Christians so I didn’t know where to start. One night at work I was talking with some co-workers sharing with them that I felt like God wanted me to do Missions and a guy named Blake said “My sister does that. Do you want me to contact her so the both of you can talk ?” I said “Yes”.  Soon after I met Blake’s sister Baylee. She helped me find a Missions trip in 2014 to Haiti. It was a little over a year of planning and training. In that time Baylee and I started dating. In 2014 we got engaged in Haiti. Over the next few years Baylee and I led seven trips to Haiti. In January of 2017 we sold everything and moved full time to care for the elderly of Haiti. We started “His Hope Ministry” where we have a feeding program that has fed over 500 meals since starting in February. We have a sponsorship program for abandoned elderly with 100% of the elderly sponsored. We currently have nine elderly in the program. We believe this is just scratching the surface of what God will do through two “Kids” whom God called.

We understand we can’t help everyone but we can’t let that stop us from helping someone.

SADDI WILLIAMS

Saddi Williams, a Washington, D.C. native, walks in a unique passion for God; one which has only grown since being called to the ministry at the age of 13. Surrendering to Christ as a young man, Saddi was placed as a Jr. Deacon by then, Pastor and Founder of Scripture Ministries, the late Apostle C.L. Long.

The call of God was evident even in High School. As a tenth grader, Saddi grew and maintained the city’s largest FCA Huddle Group at Dunbar Sr. High School for three years. As a freshman at Bryant University, Saddi accepted the school’s request to assume leadership of its dormant Intervarsity Chapter; establishing The Bryant Christian Fellowship. A ministry that culminated in campus-wide impact.

Since 2010, he has had the tremendous honor and privilege to serve as Youth Minister at the Scripture Cathedral under the leadership of Pastor, Donnell Long. Known as IMPACT, his ministry takes on the awesome task of connecting with families and their young people, with the goal of supporting children and young adults in the areas of personal, spiritual and academic development. Called to serve God in his generation, it is Saddi’s deepest conviction and greatest ministry burden to provoke a personal inquiry of Christ for every hearer and a deeper relationship for every believer.

CHRISTIAN HICKS

University recruiter. Youth Director. Father of twins. Child of God. Out of Christian’s many titles, it is the last of which he is most proud. Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, Christian spent a lot of time in the church between Sunday School, summer day camp, and youth group. After graduating from Temple University in 2004, he had the privilege to serve as Youth Director for the same church family that raised him. It was though this role that Christian had the opportunity to participate in mission trips, regional youth gatherings, and national youth conventions for the Lutheran Church, all the while discovering his love for youth ministry and mentoring. While his professional career has spanned five industries, his involvement with ministry has been consistent over the past 10+ years.
